Chase Weston are currently working with a global contract research organisation who are looking for a talented account manager to join their oncology business development team. The candidate must be from a strong scientific background to drive new business and develop existing relationships across Europe.


  • Working closely with business development and senior operational staff to further develop and cultivate existing relationships with current customer accounts to ensure repeat and expanded business
  • Providing assistance during travelling times of business development colleagues, including holiday support
  • Supporting lead generation efforts to feed the future sales pipeline
  • Completing request for proposal documentation provided by industry and academia, and supporting Director of Scientific Engagement activities
  • Coordination of events such as scientific days, roadshows, and conferences/ symposia
  • To represent the organisation in territory based and international meetings
  • To recognise sales barriers and develop methods to overcome them


  • PhD degree in a scientific discipline
  • Must have strong background in oncology and pharmacology
  • Must have strong business acumen, self-starting capabilities for using CRM systems, exceptional interpersonal, communication, and networking skills
  • Flexibility for limited travels required
  • Excellent grasp of the English language, both written and oral communication
